ATI Insurance Announces Acquisition of Trustway Insurance Locations in Georgia
Atlanta, GA - July 19, 2011 - ATI Insurance today announced that it closed on the acquisition of the Trustway Insurance Agency locations in Georgia. The acquisition adds locations throughout the state and that were formerly operated by the seller, Trustway Insurance Agencies, LLC, a subsidiary of Assurance America Corporation. Under terms of the agreement, ATI will offer insurance under both the AutoTown and Trustway brand names, but other terms of the transaction were not disclosed. With the addition of these new locations, ATI has expanded its Georgia footprint making it the largest independent, non-standard insurance agency in the state.
Commenting on the transaction ATI President Dustin Walsey said: “This acquisition is a critical component in ATI’s continuing expansion plans. The addition of the Trustway Insurance locations has opened up new markets for ATI Customers so ATI can provide a better value.
